First thing is to download somwe templates, there should be some in the downloads section. Then you use a paint program like Adobe Photoshop. Paint shop Pro, etc. You work in layers that way you can edit diferent parts ....logos etc without altering the rest of the design. The designing part is really just being creative and practice. Scour the boards and look at others ideas and works. Raven4986, Yammer, Co Avs Fan, just to name a few do real good work. Get comfortable with the program. If someone on a bored requests a sig ....make one even if you don't plan to show them (sometimes it's easier to create if you have a specific purpose). Most of all create so you like it. Most guys here are helpful and give good comments but in the end you have to be satisfied and no one else.......Oh yah i almost forgot the same thing I tell my son before he goes out on the ice.....The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to have FUN

this is the easy part (uh huh). Now I'm assuming your using photoshop, Use the square selector upper right side of the tool box and select the area of the jersey. this would allow you to work in only that area. I prefer to copy it then go directly to making a new file. The file should automatically come up the size of your selection, paste it. Then open the layers window. Create a new layer from the background layer. Then start Painting on the new layer. At some point go into the blending options of that layer and play with that ......eventually you will get what you want.

Been awhile but I believe you have to download it from the EA site. They you save your files using the template above in a bitmap format and run the program which is so simply that it doesn't require any explanation. Makes it easy to import the jersey .....but the quality is not as good.

In the tutorials, when creating a bat file, it says to enter the file that you want to modify. I want to replace equipment for custom team #1. What do I replace "XXX" with?
