when you make a set of pads or a jersey, i don't know how to make it so it's real. I mean, so that it isn't just straight plain colour. I'm wondering how you do that...
If anyone could inform me, that would be great.

You have to make shading and lighting to almost ANY addon to add "realness" to it. I use airbrush. Try and use of low opacity also when shading and lighting.
