Ok My Whole point of registering is to help you guys with this topic .

Note If You are experiencing Slowness with t NHL09 On Vista or windows 7

c/p from previous post and it works ! confirmed

1- go into control panel

2 -then go to performance and information and tools

3- click on advanced tools

4- click on Adjust appearance and performance of windows

5- select adjust for best performance

6- Apply

if your lost then click start and the just type it in the search box :appearance and performance it will show up in the list

for slowness you can always change the graphics details option inside the game and it will work ven way better if you reduce some ..

Higher resolution issues NHL09 On Vista or windows 7

Now for those who have widescreen the best way to see the screen in widescreen is to change its resolution to 1024x768 ...so on ..

Do not use the WINDOWS PROPERTIES Utility to change this YOU Must use the utility that came with your video card example i have intel card and i use Intel Graphics Media Accelerator for mobile utility .

Play with the actual video card utility and youll get the best result dont go and change ini files or reg. settings unless you know what your doing .or else youll end up messing up and re install over and over again

once you make changes Nhl09 will automaticaly pick up your higher resolution

Hey guys !

I really love the NHL series and since I do not have a PS3, I`m willing to play the older one from 2009. The problem is that I`m also experiencing the "slow motion" problem on windows 7 32 bits. The fact is that is going ok for 10 sec and then it slows down as I`m playing in a live replay.
I have tried everything that was said before, but still I can not solve the problem. If I`m turning off Vsync, then the menu does not appear. I have modified the .cfg files, tried different drivers and nothing seems to work.
I have a GeForce 9800 GTX.
Any other suggestions ?

Thanks.
