Problems with Live

Right now I cant play a versus game on Xbox Live right now. I can play the online shootout or online team play but when i try to play a versus game it says I have lost connection to my opponent.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

I dont think it is a connection problem, because if my friend recovers his gamertag it lets him play a game

I don't know if it helps to know, but I have never had trouble playing versus online.

Try recovering you name on his xbox, then doing it on yours again.

If all else fails I recommend you contact Xbox Live about that, it seems like an account issue.
