Installation Instructions
Step 1:
Copy and Paste or unzip exhibition.exh to your My Documents\NHL09 FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file.

Step 2:
Copy and Paste or unzip exhibition.exha.tdb to your My Documents\NHL09 FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file.

Step 3:
Copy and Paste or unzip db.viv to your C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL09\db FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file.

Step 4:
Click on BHImport

To Install the rosters.
Step 1:
Copy and Paste or unzip NHL 2004 Exh.exh to your My Documents\NHL 2004\db FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file.

Step 2
Copy and Paste or unzip db.viv to your C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 2004\db FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file

Step 3
Copy and Paste or unzip local.viv to your C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 2004\fe FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file

Step 4
Copy and Paste or unzip NHL 2004 Exh.exha.tdb to your My Documents\NHL 2004\db FOLDER. Say Yes to overwriting the file

2003
Instructions:
1. Unzip into your My Documents\NHL 2003\db directory.

2002
Instructions:
1. Unzip into C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 2002\DB

2001
Installation Instructions:

no,
all other addons are usually

Download addon and put the addon in the main game folder, run the bat file and then run BHImport

read the readme though for specific addons

it is used to install the addon, each addon has their own bat file

okay so I downloaded warar, or whatever, it worked and I extracted everything but when I wen to play the game the loading screen with the controls then it exited to desktop!

they are in the main game folder but there are so many files it made its own folder? unless I did WinRAR wrong?

you need to move those files to the main game folder and then install the addon again

IMPORTANT: Remember to use a hex editor to alter the first line of faces.viv from BIG4 to BIGF

unless you are using the same roster maker as when you created the season/dynasty and they did not create any new players

How do you move players from the hidden or prospects section so that I can add them to a team? I am seeing them with NHLview and am trying to add a player or two there on my team.

I do exactly what it says and it simply resets to the default rosters.

I am running on Vista, so I downloaded and extracted the Tools and Roster files to my desktop.

Then I copied exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb to My Documents\NHL09 FOLDER and overwrote.

Copied db.viv to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL09\db FOLDER and overwrote.

Copied genbhnhl, gfxpak and ImpBIG to NHL09 main folder

Copied Vista 32_BHimport07 to C: \My Documents\NHL09 and ran it.

What am I doing wrong?

I have images of what happens when I run BHimport (it says things like 'genbhnhl' or "IMPbig" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file), but for some reason they won't attach.

Did that and now the game crashes upon opening.

I turned off UAC, uninstalled the game, reinstalled it to the location you recommended (32-but Vista), unzipped the add-ons to that same folder. Not sure what you meant by running the .bat file though, I don't see any .bat files.

Did the same thing with the rosters that I did last time, and ran BHimport with the same issues, but now the game won't even open.

On a side note, I cut and moved the "My Documents" folder assuming the re-install would create a new one, but it didn't. So, I had to paste it back and then add the new files again (but they were essentially just replacing the files that I had already used to replace the old ones). I tried again after deleting the folder before re-install, but no luck.

Sorry that I can't get this, but any help would be appreciated. I really want to play with Hossa
