Follow these steps by Jaysdawg if you are running vista and want to install add-ons. You just need to edit your BHimport this one time and you are good to go, big thanks to Jaysdawg for this:
I editted the bhimport07.bat And yes the regular version one.
Just add the text cd c:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\nhl07 on the first line. No other text, but this on that first line.
IMPORTANT!!
Step 1) ADDON BAT FILE:
In order to successfully import other addon makers
addons or your very own..you must modify the bat file before hand.
with entering
cd c:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\nhl07
before the command line....
example) for jesse94_ices_install.bat
@echo off
echo #########################################
echo ### NHL 07 accurate full ice pack ###
echo #########################################
echo #### by Jesse94 ###
echo #########################################
echo.
pause
cd c:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\nhl07 <-----Correct Spot/Way
ImpBIG /i gamedata\IceTxtrs.big ICE_000.fsh ICE_000.fsh /c
ImpBIG /i gamedata\IceTxtrs.big ICE_001.fsh ICE_001.fsh /c
ImpBIG /i gamedata\IceTxtrs.big ICE_002.fsh ICE_002.fsh /c
ImpBIG /i gamedata\IceTxtrs.big ICE_003.fsh ICE_003.fsh /c
and so on..
then click save (not save as)
done with Step 1..
Step 2) Copy and Paste newly modified BHimport07..
first..
extract to any folder except your NHL07 directory.
then you can copy and paste and overwrite your original file
in your NHL07 directory.
Step 3) Running Bat file as Administrator
before you run your addon bat/BHimport07 bat
(normally like you have done in the past)
right click instead and (run as administartor)
click continue when prompted that's it
same for Bhimport07...all done
