Jersey Cresting

How do make my logos on jerseys look crested? I need some specific directions since I'm new to Paint Shop Pro which is what I use.

ok well

start off by making a layer under the logo

then expand that layer 1 or 2 pixels and fill it in white or whatever color

What kind of layer do I put- Vector, Raster, or Adjustment? And what tool do I use to make the layer one or two pixels bigger?

you can also do this:
1)go to add a layer style use "stroke"
2)set size to "2" opacity to 100%
3)set desired color of outline
4)click "ok"
and there you have it an outlined logo

And Earl, could you please explain these directions a little more in-depth because I don't really know Photoshop, and I'm not used to using it.

I would contact you on MSN, but I don't have it. But here's probably my last question. When I paste a logo onto the jersey, and then do the directions you told me, the line that i wanted to make just around the logo, (cresting) goes all the way around the new area i had pasted, making a box. Can you help?

make the logo crested in another boxset, then copy the pic "merged".then past it onto your jersey

Do you mean another "boxset" as like a new image? Because I've tried that and it does that same thing

The outline still looks like a box around the logo. I need to outline the logo exactly

Sounds like you don't have the background of logo set as a transparency, if you do that the stroke should be on the edge of the logo.

most of the time your graphics program will let you know ...so if you are working in vector and you want to make an adjustment or filter that requires it to be rasterized a window will pop up telling you
