Help With Roster Update
I downloaded the BvH roster update, version 10. I tried following the readme and the rosters don't appear to be updated. Ilya Bryzgalov and Dustin Penner are still on the Ducks. Does the roster not update those two? Is there something other than copying the files over and running the .bat update that I should be doing?

I have the same problem and i did follow the links but it didn't help.
When ingame I do go to the update roster section and select the exhibition file but it doesn't change anything at all. I did find out that some files aren't there when I execute the .bat file (like \fe\loadscr.bh and \preload\czonegoalies.bh)
Anyone can think of something ? I must miss a step or something...

here is what u need to do for xp to get the roster work and updated
Copy and then Paste exhibition.exh /to My Documents/NHL08 folder.
Copy and then Paste exhibition.exha.tdb / to My Documents/NHL08 folder.
Copy Paste db.viv In DB folder /C:Program nhl08/DB
Also u need these tools to make the roster to work
genbhnhl,ImpBIG,gfxpak

Ok, seems as I have had some luck with this, digging through other forums, threads and posts...
You need to have a new, clean install of NHL 2008 for PC, installing it into your regular, generic :C drive or the like. Then, cut the NHL 2008 folder and paste it into your "My Documents."
Install all your add-ons like normal, into that NHL 2008 directory now located in your "My Documents" folder. I did this earlier and all the add-ons I installed (boards, ice, arenas) are working brilliantly.
Hope this helps the Vista guys...

after u do that run bimport and it will take the updates

It sounds like a lot of problems with Vista comes from the fact that EA didn't design the game to work with Vista's altered folder structure.

error: Can't open fe\loadscr.bh for reading
what can i do??
