You can.... but it really isn't worth the work and effort.

Yes, just wait until NHL 06. It seems from the info (rumors) I've heard it looks like we will be able to do that in 06.

there is this set of steps. Believe me, I have tried it and it is very hard and trying to explain it to someone who doesn't understand english so well is even harder. Not making fun of you but I know you can't write or read english as well as you can french. And I am the opposite.

Yammer's right. It really isn't worth it. I figured part of it out myself, and there was also someone who did it for 2004, because the ingame music was compressed in the same manner that year as well.

There's like 50 steps you have to do. You need to clip the song to a certain size, then compress it and make it into an ASF format using a DOS based program. Then, you need to make sure the filesize is exactly the same size as the one as you're replacing - you need a hex editor for that. Then after that you have to import it using a Russian tool with no instructions - and if the file isn't the same size, you have to fix it with a hex editor until it fits.

Then you run the risk of it not even working at all.
On top of that, you need to dub and mix in crowd noises, etc.

Its very time consuming, and for the amount of work involved, not even worth it.

Have you heard the ingame music EA packaged with the game? Trust me, any amount of work to get that garbage out is worth it!!
