A Different Vista Problem

I got about twenty games into a Franchise season and even further into the Be a Pro season using XP. I just upgraded my computer and installed Vista. Now I can't get those saved seasons to work in NHL 09. (NHL 08 files that I transferred work fine in that program). NHL 09 starts up and I can get to the menu, but as soon as I load either of the saved games the program craps out and closes. Do I have to start all over again?

Yes. I tried that after reading your suggestion for a guy in another thread. I didn't run BHimport though because I wasn't sure if that file was applicable nor did I really understand what I needed to alter in the file. By just changing UAC it still shuts down as soon as I load the saved files.

Look at problem reporting in control panel. I have had Vista all along then it started crashing my game. I pulled my hair out for days. Found out that a old video driver version was clashing with a newer one. Nothing else was bothered by the clash but 09...???

Dead end on that suggestion too. My game runs right if he run files created AFTER the Vista installation, but the saved games from the XP days shuts down the game. I tried switching back and forth using old exh files and newly instaled but that made no difference. Somehow those old .BAP and .DYN files screw things up when I use them.
