NHL 08 Roster updates?

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum so hopefully my possible ignorance in asking this question wont get me scolded.

Where in the world can I get a valid NHL 08 roster update for the PC? Why has EASports not given the usual updates on their site??? The whole reason why I buy the game legit everyt year is to be able to update my roster!!! WHAT GIVES!?!?!

You can get them right here! check our downloads section. Both BvH and Sakic2002 have been releasing continual updates. The stuff you get here is way better than EA's anyway. No more fake players, corrected arena names, etc.

...Speaking of rosters, I was wondering, what's the difference (other than the makers) between Sakic2002's rosters and BvH's rosters? Just wondering.

nevermind ea man, their roster updates suck...
when I found this place it was like a dream come true.

the roster updates have almost all the new prospects and are accurate.
plus you can download new jerseys designed by many great people on this site. you can also get the backup and starting goalies new equipment and helmets!!! New arena designs...New skates for the players, new sticks and gloves...and the list goes on and on and on....

If you see something in the game that looks good, these guys can make it better...and have probably already customized it.

you can modify your player attributes, salaries, do transactions etc...in dynasty mode and for your exhibition mode.

Everytime I come on this site it makes me wonder why ea didn't hire these guys to get the job done because they do it way better than whoever is taking care of updating this game!

It is not that EA couldn't, it's that EA and the addon maker would get in trouble legally from the NHLPA, NHL, and the brand makers.

Hi there,

Has anyone encountered the windows error on XP where there is an error with EA license registration? I downloaded the toolkit and the Roster update from the threads here and now the game won't load. I followed the instructions on the readme so I'm a little worried here. Any comments/help?
