BvH-Roster NHL08

I`m started updating rosters seven days ago. A hard job. I worked
20 hours.......minimum.
I can upload a beta version with over 1500 new players for all teams. No fake players anymore. Goal horn compatible and more
but I havn`t touch the ratings, wrong datas (salary, position,..).
I will do it in the next few days or weeks....hehe.
For example the birth dates for 90% players of the Extraligas are wrong.

Since you're rosters are by far the best I've ever used, obviously I want you to release them again this year. Take your time with it though as I know if we give you a week or so to do your necessary changes to the db it will be well worth the wait. Definetely release them Watis (or Masler, whichever you prefer) but don't feel like you have to rush to get them out for everyone OK man??

yes....then release update but only release to beta testers, and since it was such a great idea, i wouldn't mind being one for ya

or release it to everyone during beta, and maybe have somebody try to finish the beta b4 u do and release as theirs that'd suck and would be dirty =\

then again more testers the more feedback which leads to a better mod i guess....and there's always the people who GIVE credit where it's DUE, also making for a better mod sometimes...

now don't go and get me wrong or anything, i don't remember if i saw u say it had duplicate jerseys numbers or not, but i noticed this in-game during my dynasty (started after installing your rosters) notice attatched images...
Salmelainen wears 20 on the leafs, i'm sure i could change this myself but i figured u wanted feedback...not a complaint just a heads up..nothing life altering lol

NOTE: Notice that atrocious TOSKALA gear?...seems like him and raycroft share a mask, isn't that nasty.......yea! thanks EA! GO TEAM!....fags........anyways, did someone release toskala's gear for this season? and or a release for his helmet/mask/cage too?

I think your rosters are great masler, no question about it. I would like you to change the ratings first (after that salaries

), they are quite important compared to the birthdates of extraliges imho

Version 1 (Beta-Version):
New:
-Created over 2000 players
-No Fake players anymore (okay a few in the hidden list)
-all teams updated. Not a big one for the AHL teams yet
but with many movements and a lot of new players
-"goal horn" compatible. I think it was an addon for NHL06
Marius told it works for for NHL08 too. Havn`t test it
-updated arena names
-20 custom teams
-and much more

Please note this is a Beta-Version! But i worked hard for this!
Same bugs like in NHl05-07:
Dynasty/Season bug so don`t start a D./S. yet i will create more players.
You can`t edit or create custom teams ingame: Reason: EA Bug after changing
too many arena names.
There is a bug in the team lines:
You find four AHL teams only using the right button ( > ) and sometimes UstiLvi
in the AHL. Mystery i changed them to the Extraliga.
I`m sure this can me fixable with an NHL08 compatible NHLView.
Same with the custom team names

many things to do:
-updating ratings and fixing errors for all players
(takes time and surely a lot of them)
-correct salaries
-some missing transactions
-big AHL update
-and more

if you find errors please don`t tell me them yet. I know there are a lot of them.

Installation:

1.Copy db.viv
to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08\db XP
or C: \My Documents\NHL08\db Vista

2.copy exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb
to My Documents\NHL08\

3. copy BHImport07.bat to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08 XP
or Vista 32 BHImport.bat to My Documents\NHL08\

4. ran BHImport07.bat or Vista 32 BHImport.bat

You need a few more files (genbhnhl, gfxpak,...) in your NHL08 main folder

hey i follow the steps in ur instruction (putting exh files in my documents/nhl08 and db.viv files in the main directory db folder...i also got gfxpak and genbnhl.

then i run BHimport07 and then wen i start the game, it crashes to desktop.

am i missing a file or something? sorry been away from NHL games the pass two years.

I have a bug with Fredrik Norrena's mask with your roster. It's a pink cage mask that appears. Can you fix it? Thanks

Not with my roster because i hadn`t touched Norrena yet. Try to uncheck "Cage mask" with NHLView

good job!...hey watis in your upcoming release can you make sure the players in the free for all are in the right teams, for example kariya is still with nashville...thanks and keep up the good work.

watis, your rosters have been great, i've been using them for a couple of years now. recently i've started to play on EA Online with NHL08, does installing the roster prevent online play? is there a way i could use your rosters for casual play and still be able to revert to playing online in the EA ratings system?
