hi there, fellow NHL lovers!
I downloaded NHL 2009 for PC last night (from EA Sports, I did pay for it) and since it didn't come with a manual (unless I am dumb and didn't find it), there are still a few of my questions that are left unanswered...
First of all, the game seems to be running pretty slow... I cranked up the skating speed and lowered the resolution and display options, but it still feels so much slower than Madden08 (shouldn't people on skates go faster than people running?)... I could get used to it, but is it meant to go really fast? I should probably invest in a 3d accelerator or more RAM or possibly even try cleaning out my hard drive...
Second, is there a way, in dynasty mode, to recall players from your AHL team, besides the ones that are in your actual roster? For example, I play with the Avs and I can recall Johnny Boychuk but I can't get T.J. Hensick or David Jones or several others from the Lake Erie Monsters. Is there any way to do that beside editing the roster and moving AHL players to NHL teams before starting the dynasty?
Finally, in a dynasty, is there a way to change the length of the seasons? 82 games per season is kind of a lot, I'll not get to season 2 until 2010!

and yes I know I can simulate games, but I'd rather keep control over all my games... but I guess I could simulate if I have to!
Anyway, thank you for your time, and happy gaming!
