Anybody having problems accessing hockeydownloads.com today?
I always get a page load error message saying:
Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.
I'm just curious if it's only me or a proxy thing (btw i have no idea what a proxy is anyway!!!)

Its usually only ever down for a few hours, never this long. Anyone have any contact with Drezz, Dox, or Rob?

damn i really hate the fact that hd isnt working at the moment!
it was my homecoming ritual every day
just wanted to guess something, maybe laugh at me, if its stupid but, is it maybe possible that EA Sports saw the site, and forced drezz or on of the other admin to pull down the site?!? |

hi Flo! well i really hope thats not the case.. btw ea could not do that so easily and if yes.. the admins would of sent some info about it to the community. but HD is just gone. i think its some problem with the server or domain. i was pissed off too, but its good to see some familiar names over here 
i fkin love HD!!!!!! hope it will be back soon! |

I was wating for this thread to start. Happens every time, never fails.
The best part is reading the wild conspiracy theories that start up (I'm talking to you, "EA pulled it down").
It's not the end of the world guys; I for one have been sorta enjoying not having around because it was sort of an addiction checking it for me and it's nice to have my time freed for making addons, playing the game, or other stuff.
And for you Europers, I hear it goes down frequently, but over here in N. America it's only been down like once before in the whole year it's been opened.

Well, if they made a better effort on the PC side, there wouldn't be as much need as there is for sites like HD and the Depot much like the FIFA addon sites too. I love finding new adds and the work is amazing. Hopefully things will be back up again very soon

i also played much games today, so it isnt the end thats right! but its a bit sad, to come home and nothing is loading, but whatever i think the ?server? problem will be fixed soon, like l.h. said :D |

Nobody needs get worried about this copyright thing. The NHL and other leagues have known about it for a while and haven't done anything (in contrast to the NCAA). In fact, EA Sports (who are under contract with the NHL) have purposely made the game quite easy to mod and even let Unorthadox give a shout out to the mod community in an interview last year.
From Dave and I talking to the AHL, we learned that while the parties officially under contract (EA, leagues) won't openly endorse it or go out of their way to help us, they didn't express any desire for us to stop what we're doing, either. Becuase they know as well as anybody what we do is free promotion for their league.
