Errors with upgrades?
I'm playing NHL09 in dynasty mode. I'm using an updated roster I downloaded from NHL Depot (amnesiac's Oct update). I am about 45 games into the first season. I don't remember the type of GM I selected but I still don't have a single upgrade star even though I have the best record in the league (around 40 wins). I think I chose the GM that reaches maximum upgrade levels quicker. No matter what type of GM I chose, surely I should've received a star by now. My upgrade meter is just a tiny notch below "trusting".
Anyone else have this problem?
Am I just being too impatient?

Just use NHL View to increase all the stars to full.

It is one of the Dynasty Tabs.
I do not have a dynasty and I can't create one because I use BvH regular rosters and they are not set up for Dynasty, plus the fact the Dynasty is crap.

Forgive my ignorance, but I don't see a dynasty tab anywhere in my NHL View. I use NHL View version 6.1.5.22.
Does amnesiac's rosters work with Dynasty? Perhaps that is why I don't see the tab? |

I was only loading the two files, but now I am doing the three. I am assuming the third file is the actual dynasty file. Thing is I still don't see anything that has to do with the upgrades. Don't see it in any of the menu or tab options. |

click on the Teams tab and it should be there.
Post a pic after you click on the Teams Tab

Yes I see it. Sorry I just found it as you posted your message. Is it possible to increase the salary cap for the dynasty league?

no, the cap is hard coded in the game.
The only way to get around the cap is to bring all the players salaries down and edit the ratings so that they don't ask for lots of money.

Thanks. Not interested in doing all that. Just tired of trades getting denied solely because of the salary cap.
