Salary Cap in 2008?
Hey everyone,
Sorry to seem so dim, but when playing dynasty mode in 2008, using BvH's most recent rosters, most teams release a good deal of players (just minor talents like Crosby, Ovechkin, etc...  ) immediately to come in under the cap...
Is there any way to either:
A) Increase the cap
or
B) Globally adjust the salaries so they're all more or less under the $50.3mil cap the game starts out with.
Any advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

A) Nope
B) Not globally but you can edit each players salary in NHL View

P.S.: Does the cap increase every year as it does in real life, or is Dynasty mode it 2008 just not even worth it? Thanks. |

I went through and changed everyone's salaries in NHL view, however it does not show it in the game. It only shows when I change the salaries in the Dynasty. Do I have to run BHimport08 or something?

The game puts them there automatically when I load it.
It works fine for everything else like attributes and trades, etc... Just not Salary.
