Hey! I just picked up 07 now that it's cheap and was wondering if there are any good realistic settings so I can get the stats and scores something close to the way they really are in games.

I've also bought it recently and after starting playing, I'm somewhat confused by the silly amounts of goals. Is there nothing to do about it?

I mean, 4-4 after one period and results like 10-5 and 9-7 are not funny in the long run.

I've tried to adjust the "shot accuracy" and how hard they shoot to almost nothing and I have defense and "shot blocking" on top but there are still the same silly goal feasts which I do find somewhat unrealistic. It doesn't matter that both goalis have a rating at 85-90 or something like that.

Do I have to use "NHLwiew" and adjust all the goalies in the game to 99 or something like that?

I'm currently playing on "medium" and play with 10 minute periods.

Some good suggestions for more realistic games?

There isn't way to make the game more realistic because EA is too fricken busy creating new graphics and adding more junk rather than making a good realistic game. Now realistic meaning of what all the people on almost every forum I've been to are saying. The game play is too retarded, too many lame ass goals, too many goals period.
