My Wishlist for NHL 2010
1) Controlling Finances for Dynasty Mode: Seriously where did this option go all of the sudden? I remember being able to control them before a few games back and now all of the sudden it handles itself
2) Being able to upgrade fully in Dynasty Mode: I've noticed even if I have a completely good season in Dynasty mode, I'll still always have one missing star that I cannot gain whatsoever.
3) Control how many years you can play in a Dynasty mode: I'd like the max to be 50 years to see how different the NHL would be in 50 years according to NHL 2010.
4) For the PC Version similar engine as the 360's/PS3's: There is no real Skill Stick for the PC version, it's just deking left and right. Big deal, wooo, I can do that with the left thumbstick too.
5) Players gear changes attributes and how a player plays for PC: If the 360/PS3 version can do it, why can't the PC's? At least with PC you can have more than one disk usable. What I'm talking about is when you select a player, and edit their skate with each skate there are ratings according to stars. I see no reason why that can't be in the PC version as well.
6) AHL for PC version: Only because I believe that by now it should've been added to the PC Version.
7) Real Time Server play: One thing that I've been majorly dissappointed in was that there was no NHL 09 server, you have to connect to IP's! As if I know all of my friends on my Buddy List's IP's. Major turnoff when it comes to gameplay.
8) Only play your player in Be A Pro mode for PC: Seriously the reason why I wanted to be a pro, is to just be that pro. I don't want to play a few other players on the team. If I wanted that I would've started a dynasty.
9) EA Needs to start releasing their own roster updates: Nothing against anyone who releases them, but come on, stop being lazy. If you can program a whole game you can make some roster updates here and there. But this is optional because EA has been known to screw up a lot, and with the site's I go to for roster updates I've noticed them to be more accurate than EA could've made them.
10) No more screwups on the jerseys!: Seriously I've seen so many screw ups each year on the Sabres jerseys, at least make 2010 a game where there's as less screw ups as possible.
*11) New Rule needed: Delay of game is needed for all version, I've noticed when the puck goes over it's just a faceoff without a penalty, they certainly need to add this into the game ASAP.
That's my wish list, might add more later.

Actually, #1 on your wish list should be: EA changes their mind about cancelling NHL10 and makes a version with new features

Be a pro camera angle
How about being able to change the camera angle in Be a Pro? What were they thinking?

Is EA cancelling NHL10 for PC? Have they come up with some explanation why?
What' s left for us who still want to play the games on PC (I hate those things like Xbox and Playstation and I'm not gonna waste any money on that)? Are there any other options.
As for wishlists, if I could persuade those not so nice people at EA to do something, then it would be to re-release NHL 04 with some updated graphics because that game was and still is a GOOD game.

Are there any 2K community which can provide us with editors, jerseys and similar stuff?
Not that funny to have to do all jerseys I've made all over again and write new rosters all over again. I don't have the time for it these days.
And what about the game itself. Some people says it sucks

the main one is freezing in any game mode, making the season/franchise mode unplayable.
continuing saying the wrong name.
no matter the score, the CPU pulls the goalie or the announcers announce that they are pulling the goalie

Oh dear!
Looks very amateurish. Not even the old NHL93 had such bugs.
I guess that they have a loooooooooooooong way to go before they can compete with EA so I also gess that we'll be stuck with 08 and 09 for some years to come.
Anyway, there's a chance that I can live with NHL 08 for some time since "the Kovalchuk problem" don't seem to interefere with the gameplaying. If it wasn't for the "equalizing factor" and some other annoying things......
However, I might give 09 a try.

My only wish for NHL 10 was a PC version but we didn't even get that.
And JanErsa you're right, they're not releasing NHL 2k10 for PC.

This will be a serious blow to the whole add on community which consists of 90% PC users. For how long will the interest stay alive if there's only an already outdated NHL09 game to play around with from now on?

except that 90% is only 90% all of all NHL PC players and not 90% of PC Users as a whole. The PC games especially the hockey game users are so small, you can understand why EA and 2K went to the consoles where there is user numbers are bigger for hockey gamers

I didn't say that this will be a big blow to EA. I know that PC hockey is a quite small market compared to, let's say soccer (Fifa) or american football, so in terms of money it might make sense what EA are doing. What I mean is that it's a big blow to the PC hockey add on community. As far as I understand there are some few add ons for the NHL series on Xbox and PS, but that's nothing compared to the computer platform. Now, what will be the fate of this community 2 or 3 years from now? I'm afraid we will see it gradually die out, and that would be very sad, wouldn't it?

there are no addons for the consoles other then rosters.
the fate of the addons depends on the addon makers though. If they stop making addons, then it would stop. If they continue making addons and improving the game the way they know how, the game can live on forever. 2004 also has loyal following and still gets addons made for it.
