roster updates with fantasy draft

i've seen a lot of great roster up dates but cant use them in a fantasy draft.....they only work in Play Now mode and in a season using default rosters

is there anyway to use updated ones in a fantasy draft?

I think you got to started over used updated rosters then go season then go to other one you mention.

i've tried uninstalling the game and reinstall then add the new rosters but it still doesnt work
funny thing now is, even if i try to do a second franchise season, it goes back to the rosters on the cd and not the updated ones from the 1st season i have saved already

I think you can't use updated rosters for fantasy draft. I think NHL 2002, you can't either.

in 2002 it worked up untill you download the EA patch for the game
you could however, reinstall the game, update the rosters, do your draft, then download the patch

you could only have one season with the updated rosters though unless you did a few drafts at a time before the patch

can't you just select something like : Current rosters? instead of Default?
