Hello everyone!

So, my cousin recently told me that NHL 2004 has quite possibly the best gameplay a hockey game has ever seen. I convinced him to give it to me, and I've already gone ahead and installed almost all of Flyermania's addons to it.

I really want to start a dynasty with it, but have one question:

Is there an addon that allows you to extract box scores and other game information with very detailed html?

I know there is some html files of your games in the "stats" folder in the main directory, but these are pretty low-fi tables, if I might say.

I know MVP Baseball 2005 has a really advanced HTML box score extractor.

Is there a way to do that? As it stands now, I could just take a screenshot of my game recap (which is themed like ESPN), although this seems like it might get out of hand a bit.

Also, what is a good period length to get realistic in-game stats?

Yes, it has both ingame boxscore pages (I created them from the old calendar addon) and a detailed boxscore extractor. Unlike MVP 2005 (which requires CTRL-ALT-DEL -> running the extractor manually) our mod has fully automatic system (by Egorgiy) and it creates boxscores to html table, which you can share in the forum like this:

You can also archive all your season games with ease. Those "html tables" are viewable with Firefox or IE... just double click over them.

There is also a txt version of the boxscore extracted. I don't know what more details you could possibly ask. There's the scoring & penalty summary and all detailed player stats (including ice time).

Most play with 6 min periods and penalties at 3 (real periods are circa 10 mins that way). Yes, the stats are very realistic.
