which one should i get?
it's for my old pc which is too slow for anything newer....

NHL 2002 is a good and fun game, and better than NHL 2001. I have not played NHL 2000.

NHL 2001 definitely. It needs a lot of tweaks though... and the hitting is way overboard. But 2002 and 2003 were utter crap (imho).

But without a doubt 2004 (with proper tweaks) is the best ever. If you have around 1300 MHz you should be able to run it.

Go for 2000. The controls are easier than 08 and somewhat less sophisticated than maybe 04 to 08.
