IP to IP online questions

Did the search with no Luck,,,>>

I play online via Ip-Ip.A few questions i do have..Does online game via IP-IP have to be played with no modifications(vanilla NHL07 n same version)?

1.Obviously we need the exact same rosters installed?I want us to have the latest rosters but not the official 1(EA)?With the new roster are they changed with new attributes? that NHLView isn't needed?(Goalies are adjusted to 99 etc,within the new rosters?) is it doable?

2.If I tweak my players(goalies) with NHLView will we have compatability problems?(or will I have to make all adjustments via NHLView copy n send to IP buddy for him to place in the proper folder)?

3.From what I read here iam TCE for NHL06 will work with NHL07?If I us it and adjust the settings (will I have to copy n send the 2 files it modifies to my friend I play via IP-IP)

4.What n where's the Mod? that 1 can use to adjust settings for IP-IP game as its set to medium difficulity(not changeable) and not very many sliders to adjust?I seen the loooong fix at Dblminor/SportsGamer's site and wondered if there was a quick fix.

Any answers will be greatly appreciated,,,cheers,,,,.

Well it is one of the worst part of the game. EA really let us down in this one.

I am presently experimentating on this right now. For the moment I think I'm only able to play with the current roster and a modify aidata.viv I Think that the ingame settings are the ones of my roster. But I still can't change the difficulty level by default and set it difficult. Anyway I'll check it during the next few days.

1) Both side needs same files:

Db.viv to: C: Program files\Ea Sport\NHL 2007\db
Exhibition.exh to: My Documents\NHL 2007
Exhibition.exha.tdb to: My Documents\NHL 2007
Aidata.viv to: C:Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 2007\Gamedata
fmisc.viv to: C:Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 2007\preload

There's 2 rosters that I know that has that:

NHL Depot Roster:

2) Each time you make changes to your roster you'll need to send the same files to your Opponent.

3) Same thing send the aidata.viv to your partner

4) I think you mean the default slider editor, it's available at Double minor made mediator.

Thx alot Eugene Power for the quick reply n instructions on installing,I installed the NHL Depot roster n it's very nice with all adjustments n updates.On Difficult(Dynasty)I really have to work hard 4 a win.But when I do its very rewarding.This roster surely adds to the immersion factor n the enjoyability of NHL07.Now i'm just waiting for my my buddy to install all files properly so we can clash online.,,,,,lol..thx again,,,,,,,BC01.
