Retirements:
The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced the retirement of long time captain and all-time leading Leafs point and goal scorer Mats Sundin.

Players Released:
The Toronto Maple Leafs have released former starting Goaltender, 28-year old Andrew Raycroft who has since been picked up by the Colorado Avalanche.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have released long-time Leaf face, 33-year old Darcy Tucker who has since been picked up by the Colorado Avalanche.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have released young, injury riddled prospect, 25-year old Kyle Wellwood who has since been picked up by the Vancouver Canucks.
