Normally roster-makers don't help each other out because they naturally want people to download their version over someone else's. At this point, I just say screw it, cuz I'm just tryin to have a good game for people to play.
With that in mind, I am making this spreadsheet available, which lists every player in the game. I have it color-coded (correctly hopefully, I was working on it at 2am...) to point out various mistakes and discrepancies in the roster database. Some of which I have already mentioned in years past on FacePlace as far as improperly assigned codes and such...
COLOR KEY:
Incorrect name (whether it be spelling error or naming error) Multiple ID's for the same player
Multiple players with the same audio code
Multiple players with the same face code
Face code needs to be changed Some other type of attention is needed for player
Thanks Jimbo, I knew there was another one I wanted to mention... last year EA got the Mike Green's mixed up and I'm sure they did again, especially considering they've had the Robert Carlsson's mixed up since NHL 04...
Please note that there are two players named Mikko Lehtonen. The one who plays for Karpat (formerly of Buffalo) has two ID's in the game, while the one who plays for Boston (former of Espoo) has one.
Same goes to Mike Green, of Washington and currently of Europe. Both have the europe guys numbers. This is also invaluable to goalie makers, and cyber makers, so I would strongly reccomend downloading it if you're doing ANYTHING involving FAC numbers....Thanks for the effort Owen, always appreciated..
