OK, I found it on a older roster release, but now when I did run it, the game crashes when I open it...Any suggestions? I copyed the bat file into the patch folder and did run it |

hey sounds great but ive got 2 questions
first you mentioned
-better don`t starts a season/dynasty because of the EA bug
(the exhibition roster and the dynasty/season roster must have the same amount of players)
so what i have to do for playing in dynasty modus with your update but without ea bug?
and the other is is it working with windows vista aswell??

Install Notes (win xp):
1. Copy db.viv to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08\db
2. copy exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb to My Documents\NHL09
3. run BHImport08.bat
- Play the game-

Appreciate the work done, but it should be tested before being released as it causes the game to crash/not load. Mine crashes before the loading screen even appears. |

Well you forget to tell that first you need a lot more programe then BHimport08.bat you need what is in teh whole pack that is under tools for nhl08 to make it work !, got it to work with XP no problem for teh ones that said it dod not work under xp its because you did not use all the tools for it!
And i was not able to make it work for Vista 64 can someone tell me he mde it work with Vista 64 !!!!
other wide it works 100% witn Xp but i want to make it work for Vista 64 so nedd some info please.... |

I got it to work now as well. Better than nothing I suppose..if you want to create a dynasty or have correct players in your free agents list, I suggest you keep the original rosters until another update comes out. |

to get any mods to work under vista 64 bit you must do the following:
edit bhimport.bat to include the following on the first line:
cd c:/Program Files/EASPORTS/NHL09
then save changes
or change it to wherever you installed the game..for example my game is loaded on the d:/ under a folder named games..so editing my bhimport.bat would look like this
cd d:/Games/EASPORTS/NHL09
It helps to turn off UAC completely and run the program as administrator..(UAC should be disabled anyway if you have any ideas how retarded Vista is with it on)
Also to get any 08 mods to work for the 09 version u must do this tweak using BigGUI..read this thread.

thanks for the info but , first i must say i am very good at computer but find teh way to make it work under vista 64 a little bit comfusing , and juste dont want to botter with all those trouoblle.
This is teh first time i have actualy bought the nhl 09 game , i used to downlaod a pirated version of the game, and for teh first time spent monoey to do it...
BUT MAN AM I SORY to do it, its 2008 and yet teh game does not suport 1900x1200 res What gives with that ?!?! and tahe lack of REAL comtumisation ofr the xbox controler for pc lacks and sucks in so many ways tried to remouve the buttons 9 that always remouve teh damn goaler when you touche it realy realy lame..
I adont want to use 3ird party aplication for teh game , i want Update roseter coming from EA damit
and the graphics SUCKS , juste comparaied teh game next to a 360 version and you will see it
THIS is so sad i am French Canadian, Ostie and the make my NHL experiend a lousy one come on e dont have any more Baseball game due to the fack that expo are dead, and jsute canot play basebalee game widout them.. and NOW and canot even play NHL 09 cuz the game is so lousy
