If you want new rosters to sm-league in nhl 08 I'd recommend this http://fhr.fi/fhr08/tiedostot.
It's made by finns and it includes new player pictures, new goalie equipment, new players, new jerseys, ices and most players are animated. If you don't understand Finnish use dictionary. It also upgrades nhl rosters and you won't be able to create any own teams 'cos theese rosters create special teams for their places.
Still it's for season 07-08 but the same team is making new update for this but it's for 09.
