Did u alex run the bhimport08.exe file? Those files should work fine.

Something's not right with the gameplay files...
I installed them and the game won't go past the loading screen... the little goalie icons keeps flashing and the game won't start.
I used Yee's and Mazda's gameplay before and they all work perfectly... If I put the original gameplay files in there, it works fine...
Is it just me?

Yes u can. Just don't copy the aidata and fmisc files. Only copy the exhibiton files and db.viv file. |

Tried these...
Not terrible, but could be better, I can still control the puck in their offensive zone way too much. I looked at your TCE and slider files, and it seems like you didn't edit very much. Try tweaking a lot of those values you've left alone, and you'll probably improve this. |

Okay, I tried a 2nd game and got good results... I must admit that each teams you play against are different!
I've got a good game against the Ottawa Senators, using the Montreal Canadiens.
By the way, my game is tweaked to my desires... you never asked people to load the default settings in the Gameplay menu... so I left my settings. And also, my centermen on the team have their faceoffs value decreased so I didn't win every faceoffs... I'm going to increase those since I cannot win much faceoffs with this update.
Here's the stats, for those who wants to see some numbers:
Ottawa-Montreal
1-4 score
24-29 shots (really great...)
16-26 hits (not bad)
17-7 faceoffs (not bad considering my players are faceoffs-decreased)
4:49-12:12 attack time
8:00-6:00 PIM
0/3-2/4 PP
That game was good, compared to the other one I tried. This time, Ottawa was more often in the penalty box than me. I've got the touch at winning some faceoffs, instead of none. The shots weren't really accurate again, but still I managed to put some on the net and win the game.
Great job.
And by the way, your Gameplay add-on is the ONLY ONE ON THIS SITE that DOESN'T make my game "lagish"... every other gameplays have my graphics going weird, not smooth as it should. (My PC isn't a bomb, but still I run the game fine normally...)
So from now on, your gameplay is gonna stick with my game. I'll tweak it a bit but it's really good.

3) The penalties are just not fair! I kept getting 5 on 3 PK while the computer ended the game with one single penalty!
Maybe I'm too rough, but the refs just called EVERYTHING on AGAINST me, and that isn't reality ahahah.
No but no joke, penalties are too much one-sided! (I'll lower the penalty amount... but the CPU will go even less to the box :\...) |

ok here's... After I tried to revert the changes I've made with your gameplay settings, the problem still remains... but the game was working really fine just before I tried your update. I did backup first and I reverted to the original files, but now my game it crashed.
I reverted to an older backup I had and reinstalled every add-ons that was missing and now it works.
I dared myself to try your gameplay again and NOW it works.
So here's my comments on your gameplay dude!
(It woul dhave been cool from you to have put the changes made with your gameplay, compared to EA's default...)
1) Faceoffs are almost impossible to win... I've been beated 29-2 in a whole game... I give you the fact that if the CPU have the puck more often after a faceoff, the attack from the CPU will be more effective... but still it's frustrating to never win a single faceoff!
2) Shots are really weak from good players... hard shots almost never reach the net... they all fly over the net or beside. But the shot total count was good at the end of the game... being like 21 to 24 for me. So this brings some more realism... but the shot accuracy realism is decreased! eheheh...
I think this is not that bad, except that you never win faceoffs... I'll try tweaking my players so they are a little bit better so I can at LEAST win 30% of the faceoffs.
The goalies look good, they don't give up bad goals... maybe this increase in goaltending is generated by the players not being able to hit the target when they shoot?? :P
Anyways! Keep trying to tweak your settings, looks good, not bad at all.
(By the way... what is the software used to edit those .bin files contained in the .viv files??

Yes I ran BHImport.
I do add-ons myself and know how the game should be patched with add-ons.
It's really weird that the game does that... Mazda's and Yee's gameplays work fine... Yours don't... oh well. Sad but I won't try it :\ |
