This is my first addon ever!
Took me over 5 months to do, hope you're gonna like it!
Replaces the AHL with the 27 active IIHF teams that were not in the game:
Armenia, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia,
DPR Korea, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Korea, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain and Turkey
All with complete jerseys, some vintage jerseys, numbers, letters, torfs, logo, crowd, ice, puck and rosters!

I will release a part 2 with all the International teams already in the game and an update for part one with the new jerseys from this year including Mexico, New Zealand, Hungary, Korea and more! Stay tuned!!!
The .zip format is a little bit odd, but WinRAR was able to open the archive without any trouble.
I installed the mod, but unfortunately the onlything that seemed to change in the game was the logos (big and medium sizes).
The jersey templates didn't install, neither did rinks (though I'm not 100% if you actually did those or not?)... Any word on this?

This is great! I was always missing the other national teams of the IIHF in NHL! Thanks for this terrific addon! Hopefully the work on this one will continue! We need part 2 of this!
Will there be a similar file for NHL 09 ? It appears the creator of this (danny_duke) hasn't logged on onto the forum for quite some time, leading me to believe there will never be a NHL 09 version.
