*** For the arena, you need to use the DT's NHL boardpack model.
*** For the Ice, you need to use the Torontofire icepack model or other same format ice model.
*** Include 1x and 2x ice surface...if your game crash, use 1x ice.
Install!
Extract all files in your nhl08 folder and run Jets Pack.bat
Don't miss to run Bhimport.bat after.
Now, open Nhl View for replace a team name and arena.
Select number 290 in "play by play" for ear "Winnipeg" in a game.
For the goalie mask, in Nhl View, select a goaler of this team and select CUSTOM MASK 10 in "identity", "mask brand".
Hey, I installed the pack and everything is good but when it gets to the loading screen just before it goes to the actual game, the music fades in then fades out and the loading bar just freezes.
Any ideas? I installed the 1x as I did with your Nordiques project.
I had the same problem and I found out that I had to reinstall the glass update from Grafixer after installing the Jets project (same for the Nordiques). So if you have the glass add-on, try reinstalling it after the Jets project. Hope that fixes your problem...
I have not downloaded this yet but I think this is gonna be great! I, in my opinion, think the world will not be in peace again until a Winnipeg team enters the NHL. by the way, the jets played at the old winnipeg arena. Someday, you should do a project to change the united center in chicago to chicago stadium using its ice, boards, scoreboards, crowd seating, crowd, and most importantly, the Barton organ. I suggest you wait until NHL 09 to do it. It's next month. You can wait.
Does this work for NHL 09? I downloaded the Jets project/Whalers project/Nordiques project for 09 and I changed all the stuff from NHL view like u said and wen I come to loading screen it freezes and I downloaded the glass update too but the link for the Torontofire icepack won't come Any suggestions for me?
