FULL NHL BOARD PACK - 07/08 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Step 1: Extract the contents of the .zip archive to your NHL07/NHL08 directory. Step 2: Run 'Install.bat' Step 3: Run 'BHimport07.bat' to complete the installation. CONTENTS OF THIS UPDATE: -1- MODELS: So, I completely scratched EA's original board model, and replaced it with my own. The model is much more accurate and allows for 20 different ads, rather than EA's standard 8. The reflection model has been updated to match as closely as possible, and I've come up with my own edit of the door model and the .fsh file to allow for stretching of the ads over top of the doors which was not previously possible. Time spent editing these models took almost as long as creating the textures. Getting the stretching as consistent as possible was a real chore, as was getting around all of the limitations of the original model, but I think it turned out alright. -2- TEXTURES: I had always wanted a more "2X" style texture for the board ads, so I created my own template in order to do that. I took many original textures (Scratches etc.) from a board template created by Antii a couple of years ago, and edited them to suit my own needs. Finding decent resolution graphics for the ads themselves was either really easy or really difficult. Each team has an abundance of obscure ads or team specific ads that can't simply be googled so each and every one had to be created by hand. All told, there are approximately 420+ different ads that are included. -3- CREDITS: Antti - Some board textures Drezz - Inspiration If I missed someone, or you feel left out, just send me a message. noreg 11-13-2007 at 02:46 PM	I'm having that problem too. Is there an alternate mirror somewhere? I didn't see one up at sportsgamer. Do I just need to keep trying, or is the file not working for everyone now?
noreg 11-13-2007 at 02:54 PM	EDIT ahhh ok I was able to download it. If you're having the problem where the white window just pops up, and nothing is happening, just leave it open. After a couple minutes, the file will appear in a temporary folder, and you can drag and drop it into NHL08.
