DRutka's Complete (PLUS) Buffalo Sabres Pack
Being from the Buffalo area, I have always wanted to do a Buffalo Sabres pack.
I know there have been some great Sabres packs done in the past, but I've felt there was always something missing.
This pack will consist of the following;
- 1970 home and away jerseys (tie up collar, no letters)
- 1980's / early 1990's home and away jerseys
- Late 1990's / early 2000's home, away, alternate, and 9-11 jerseys
- This years current home and away jerseys
- My Retro / Modern home and away jerseys
- My fantasy jerseys I made last year (with a couple updates) home, away, and alternate
- And an option to add last years alternate jersey in place of the 9-11 jersey
A total of 16 Sabres Jerseys
Obviously, this years current jerseys are complete... Also the retro / modern ones are complete and will be released as a seperate pack once the downloads are back up, Below is a quick preview of those jerseys.

Here are the 1970 Home and Away Jerseys.
Again, these will not have letters when released since the Sabres did not have names on the back of their jerseys in the first year.

My fantasy jerseys I made last year (with a couple updates) home, away, and alternate.
Credits to John Slabyk of Celsius Design for his awsome logos.

Alright, so now I can get rid of my not-gifted-as-a-jersey maker version of the Sabres alt. last year!

the designs are flawless and i realy love them. there is just one thing that bothers me and that is that your logos look very plastic. stop using bevel and you'll see the difference.

I think I know what you mean....
Ley me ask you this, is it just the "fantasy" jersey logos or do you think that of the 80' and 90's logos too? The fantasy ones I did last year and maybe I need to update them, but I thought the 80's and 90's ones look pretty damn good, maybe it's just me.
Would the one on the right be better????

But if you look at an actual picture, the silver is raised...

I don't know, I guess I'm just not seeing what your seeing as far as a plastic look with the silver.

Yeah. I own that jersey. The white is twill, the silver is raised embroidery.

Now I do not see any raised stitching in that, I think it looks too flat.
I'll just stick with what I have on that logo, I just like it. Guess it's personal preference. Thanks for the tips though.
