Yes it doesn't... At least I had to disable CPU0 or CPU1. It was lagging like hell before I did it...

Don't have to get so defensive, jeez.

What I meant to say was that it works with DC CPUs, but doesn't take advantage of it.

That's what most people mean when they say "X has no support for DC"

Think about this for a second. All programs run on single core CPUs, which DC CPUs have.

I respected you a lot, but in these past couple of days, I've lost all that.

Who are you calling an idiot when you can't even spell a word learned by Grade 1 students?

And for those with Vista, such as myself. It doesn't matter since Vista has the fix implemented already.

Then again, always had the lagging issue on XP and had to turn off one core.

Should work perfectly although I remember playing NHL06 on my cousin's computer that was just as good and it had some lag. Then again, she had a 6150LE.

Like seriously, I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything.

It's funny how easily one thread can turn into something else with a simple post by someone that doesn't know what they're talking about.

Just to throw my 2 cents in...

The new ices will undoubtedly be fantastic (thx Antti) and it's true that NHL08 doesn't have a native support for dual cpu's, but that doesn't mean that having a dual core machine won't increase your system performance on ALL applications. I have the Intel T7600 (2x2.33) and the NHL08 runs smoothly with all the highest settings (haven't had any lag) with 1600x1200, and we're talking about a laptop. So I don't think the higher res. ices will be a problem for anyone with at least a fairly new rig. :-)

I would say when he gets to them...It takes time to see the new surfaces and ads not to mention he has a life outside of here.
Im not trying to be rude because we all look forward to these great add-ons, but guys dont like being hounded about when things will be done.

Indeed.

Plus the fact that Antti didn't made addons for more than a year, he's probably a bit rusty. He'll show more when he has the time to make the stuff.

Ok, I'm trying to install Antti's 2x Anaheim ice (png format file) (as he sent it to me to test it ), but I can't double the texture in fshx. Fshx crashes as soon as I select "double texture"...

I have graphixer's format for ice, and the ice000.ebo I grab is set at 1024x2048 - as I installed the ice addon from last year. But - I can't double it, as mentioned. When I take this file straight from the disc, it's sized in EA default format - 1024x1024, ... so when I double it, it's 2048x2048 - not 2048x4096 that it needs to be.

What the hell? I thought I knew everything, lol. I just need to double it in fshx without it crashing on me.

And I'm sorry, I've been busy with life. Also, I needed to download all the fonts needed. Now I can start to crank these mofos out.
