Some Fantasy Stuff

Well with the laptop down and all its glitchy tower fun but managed to update a few of the fantasy teams to 08 now and working on making 3 fantasy and 14 of the old IHL to put in and overwrite one of the euro leagues... Using the Mc template of course, what else?! Credits there to start with....

Halifax Dragons ( Thank you to however it was that did the cresting on the logo too, I have forgotten over time )

Hamilton Tigers ( stripe pattern is off a template but don't remember who did it I think for 04... credits to them though!)

IHL STUFF SO FAR...

Albany Choppers

Atlanta Knights ( Modified the logo )

Cleveland Lumberjacks

Columbus Owls ( Dunno what is up with after saving having that block thing covering a portion damn glitches likely have to redo it....)

kiwi thanks they're not as good as some of the main guys can do but working at it... already noticed some touchups needed on them so...

I love seeing people make up their own fantasy teams, this is some really cool stuff Roadrunner...got any ingames for these teams so far or are you still working on that?? Show 'em if you've got 'em man. :-) Later!!!

Rock thanks, its a work in progress have a bunch more to do up before even looking at letters/numbers etc... its slow going due to being without my laptop which is the main comp for me, my tower is a glitchy bugger so... hopefully tuesday will have been able to juryrig the laptop and will then pump them out a bit more and get into reworking them with attempts at stitching etc too to make them look better... hopefully it won't be too long

Any plans on releasing them at some point?? It's some nice stuff and I'd love to use them as created teams once I finally decide to start up a season or dynasty. I haven't a clue how to make my own stuff (nor do I have Photoshop on my PC) so I like seeing what other people come up with. Later!!!

Rock the plan was to make 14 teams to overwrite one of the euro leagues for 08... that said I am still learning the stitching on the jerseys to make these better but its a start... I've made Ice and Pucks before for 06 version of my Dragons team so know how to do that... numbers and letters I am not sure but might seek some help for that the front end graphics stuff and doing some fantasy custom arenas and all for it to make it complete but for the time being am focusing on getting the jerseys and ice and such done, so yes I'll release them.

IHL REMAKE will be as follows;

- Cleveland Lumberjacks
- Columbus Owls
- Detroit Vipers
- Indianapolis Ice
- KC Blades
- Las Vegas Thunder
- Orlando Solar Bears
- Peoria Prancers

- San Fransisco Spiders
- St. Paul Saints

Am also contemplating once I get the 14 overwrite done perhaps doing 16 more for a major overwrite for the NHL but first things first....

As I said hopefully within the next few days will have a work around for the damnable laptop meaning can then get working during the day on this which will speed it up considerably.

And as such whipped off more jerseys... add in credits to Karloos for his Sabres template which I combined quite nicely with Mc's to make the latest ones unique...

Looking really good Roadrunner.....It'll be great to have an IHL addon in this game. It's cool that you're mixing the RBK Edge look with the old teams too (much like DRutka is doing with the NHL teams). Btw, is that the old St. Paul Saints of the WHA logo I see on their blue home jersies?? Very nice. Later!!!

Rock yeah it is I liked that logo better but used their original on one jersey and that one on the other for St. Paul.... Orlando and San Diego to go.... then gotta figure out numbers and letters and such as well as Ice and pucks...

I've also gone back and added an eastern/western conference patch to the jerseys as well as the IHL logo on the bottom back to the teams too.

Okay well jerseys and pucks are done and ice is now 10 of 14 finished so should be done by late tomorrow night or monday... after which I might try and make some simple torfs and plain blank boards before seeking someone's help in putting all this stuff all together and get it in game...

San Fran Bayside Arena ice.... ( note I said previous plain boards and kept the ice simple and pretty much clean of ads... 1) was faster and saved time and 2 thought it would be cool having a throwback type look )

Okay so jerseys with letters and numbers are done as are the ice and pucks and Torfs even...

only thing is I SUCK at getting this stuff in game, anyone able to help package this up and all to get it in game would be appreciated!! Looking at overwriting the Euro leagues one of the three with 14 teams in it, not really picky.

Also anyone feeling creative and wanting to make arenas lemme know, and goalie gear go crazy and creative if anyone wants for masks etc!

I wish I could help but I haven't a clue about how to make a batch file or anything man.....I can put them in the game manually using Biggui but that's about it. No help I know, sorry about that!!! I'm sure someone will come to your aid however....c'mon guys, help the guy out will ya??!! Later!!!

Rock I am okay with the bat file I can manage that since can modify an existing one easy enough and I think I still have the Dragons one I used for 06 to put the team in with numbers etc from there... trouble is I need to know what numbers for the stuff to overwrite for say the DEL which has 14 teams and would be perfect.... once I know that am good to go and test this stuff and will take some screens

Okay lemme tell ya its been a dogs age since I even tried this with the Dragons I made.... BUT that said mnaged to get the jerseys ( only the jerseys at present ) into the game and play a bit... overwrote the DEL so still have to find the torfs and ice and pucks etc... am leavin the boards generic and have to do gloves and helmets but.... snapped a couple screen shots of the game between the Atlanta Knights and San Fransisco Spiders... ( bear in mind this is also on my laptop not the greatest of graphics cards/not bad but not great... I occasionally get this white flashy square in game for instance )

kiwi have no idea how to do a roster have never done one so hadn't planned on it but then perhaps if I can get some help and all... as is will just have the euro rosters for the time being

Looks great Roadrunner......hopefully someone can help you out with goalie gear for the teams as well (kinda like people did last year with Selles' custom teams that he made). But so far things look really good. How do the numbers and letter look on the teams?? Could you make a screen cap on the back of someone's jersey so we could see?? Later man!!

Hey Rock... still working on this but had trouble getting one of the teams to go in and the ice as well... gonna try a fresh reinstall of the game and all see if that helps some but its coming along bit by bit.

Okay well am pissed now.... got the docking station laptop was fine right up till last night when the hard drive seized up and died without warning whatsoever... now am really %$^& pissed as the majority of files were all on the laptop.... so will be getting a new hard drive hopefully in a few days which means having to go back and redoing everything lost.... am soooooo not amused so this is gonna get delayed and all.... on the plus side can improve on them now and try and make them better though....

Sorry to hear about that Roadrunner...computers seem to crap out on us when we least expect it (mine almost did the other night but I managed to avoid a disaster somehow!!). We'll all be patient until you can get this hard drive issue solved. Keep us updated though as to how things are going when you can OK man?? Later!!!
