My only suggestion is that you should go back to the Gretzky era colours of black and silver

I want to thank you for the Unis you have done and I will look forward to what you do for new Addons sounds cool. However I feel I can speak for many people like myself that have Zero talent to do these addons. Also I do not see those that pick them apart doing the New NHL Unis. I know some of them maybe offering advise and that some of them have talent to do Addons. However why do they not do them so we can get their work if its so good. For all the many people that can not do its to bad things like that stop you from doing all the rest of the NHL etc. We value anyones time that it takes to do addons so why dont the neet pickers start putting out work. I would love to have the ttalent and know how to do.Us that can not depend on all the talents of everyone to improve our games.Thank you again and I hope you may change your mind and complete the new Unis for the NHL

what does control U do?? The design is a bit messed up due to me changing it half way thru making it(and bending the merge points on the pen tool to do so). I'll redoo it for more smooth flowing lines before release. Despite the fact I'm learning new stuff every time I try something I'm still a relative newb when it comes to photoshop. I just discovered how to do gradients, and how to apply different patterns to enhance my gold/silver effects. This isn't racing a car or motorcycle around a race track at 300KPH that I can do blindfolded half asleep, it's a complex art instrument that didn't come with instructions. I'm just learning as I go

How do you reverse a pattern to the other side of the temp without losing vector or having the whole caboodle crash??

Jimbo just keep doing what your doing, your work is improving in the logo area and your work rate is second to none. Just get some tips from LH of aj on logo work ...

Don't listen to clowns, there are alot of people around here who like your work

It's really funny how you say I run my mouth alot. I'm giving my opinion on them. Not everyone on the boards has to say "ZoMG I EFFING LOVE UR WORK". Get used to it. Addon makers have to deal with it. Jimbo, it's not like I'm saying your work is garbage, it's just that your cresting isn't the greatest and some lines are jagged. The designs you come up with are real good, but poorly executed. I'm not telling you to stop making/releasing addons, but if you really feel the need then go ahead. Previewing everything first also may help a tad so people like LH, Maddy and those people can give you tips on how to crest or how to do something. Thats how I learned the game was previewing and listening what they had to say.

Just had to let you know how I feel.

Jimbo I've always liked your work, so go ahead and keep putting stuff out there. No it's not perfect and you have acknowledged that it isn't, but it's a whole lot better than anything I could ever come up with (since I don't have a clue about how to make addons) so therefore I don't bitch too much about it. So go ahead, keep on putting out your "schiznit" or however you say it (no clue, I don't speak that language...LOL) because I normally will download it and use it until the masters like LH or Drezz or whomever else puts their stuff out there for everyone.

Karloos, your a good guy but let him do it the way he wants to, he is just learning photoshop give a guy a break, my heck not every jersey has to be perfect like yours, gosh and Jimbo great job love the design and think the older kings colors work way better. never liked the new kings stuff.

I never said I was the best, nor do I claim to be. But we gave him god knows how many tips and he doesn't seem to put them to use. I'm sure I'm not alone to have noticed it.

btw don't diss my province or I'll apeshit on yours.

edit: wait weren't you the one to tell me not to overreact? **** off.

edit2: Robert my jerseys aren't perfect. at all. and I think Jimbo has great potential but just didn't spit it out yet. hell I'm even sure he can out me hands down if he applied that potential. but for now I stay by my opinion.

Yeah, I'm not going to pick fights with you because you aswell have done some work that didn't impress me.

I give my opinion plain and simple. If you don't like what you read the just ignore it. I'm not here to bash jersey makers, I too was once just learning. But my biggest tip is to preview first, take advice, fix and release.

I'm not saying its my way or it's no way. I'm just saying take the advice people give you. If I recall back at DMD when LH first started, he wasn't the LH of today. But he listened to people and it made him what he is today. Jimbo has great potential to be up there and I know that and I'm not denying it. I guess I owe him an appology. Jimbo I'm sorry I came down so hard on you, please continue to release addons here and make the EA games better.

guys, stop fighting over trivial crapola. I make addons for me, then release the stuff, something I haven't done before. As I learn I'll get better. I am not nor ever will be a perfectionist. I don't care about everything being perfect. I just wanna keep learning, adding to my repore, and keep making stuff that'll fill in the gaps until the great guys can do it. Again I'm of the school SOMETHING is better then nothing. It's not art what I'm doing but it's a reasonable fasimilie to passable. So enough bickering. Now back to your regularly scheduled addons....

I'll be showing my first goalie stuff for the year, Curtis Sanford later today. His mask is being done as we speak and is essentially a slight redoo of his sandman evil lives mask from the blues.

No more bickering folks. Here are the Flyers official unis. They're using the same preset template as Lake Erie of the ahl(colorado's ahl team and Colorado is using this as well):

I'll fix this design to be more smoother flowing then release it later today...McD temp

Give the jimbo bashing/trolling a rest guys. If you want to offer constructive criticism thats fine but enough of this crap - if you don't like it don't view his threads its as simple as that.

Hei, Jim! Nice stuff! The only thing that I'd change - the Flyers logo texture. I think it needs to be darker (I assume its kinda lighter because of the texture that you are using) and have a different pattern. Just play around with it. Otherwise its great stuff!

It opens the Saturation/Hue Adjustment setting because I believe you cut off the saturation and boost'd up the contrast. I calld you a lazy bast... because you didn't change the color of each color layer manually and I think it would have lookd bettear.

here's a quick look at what Colorado is gonna look like as leaked by Denver News outlets. This is NOT for release and needs to be redone from scratch. Just to show you all what the design looks like...

Colorado08:

Edit: I've made a breakthrough in figuring out custom stitching. When I do my next work it'll be on a hybrid of the old Decypher/Pop template I've custom crafted. No more depending on the cookie cutter look of mcD's temp.I'm happy with the miniscle pace of my improvement increments. I'm teaching this ancient dog a new trick everyday...
