Question about cybers
Just to know if I should continue to do cybers. As I see, i got good commentaries, but bad grade with my Sharks pack. And also NHl08 is getting out, so i wanted to ask to.
If yes, which team do you want? Jslavos suggested the Leafs, but I hate them , so if you have suggestions...

Hi man.
As i said to you on MSN-you have been working hard on the packs, so i say relax till 08 is out, and then do some packs.
As for the grades-dont look at them, the response and feedback(comments etc) from people is important, if some guy gives you a "F" its his psychological problem

who cares about the grades? Look at the downloads and that is the only thing that matters

I liked your Sharks Pack very much. It's nice to have a guy here who still makes packs with several cybers in them. I suggest you do your next pack for some other team than Leafs. I believe it was Unorthadox who made one for them for 06. Bruins would be a nice addition to 07. There are many players without a cyber, like Lashoff etc. Keep up the good work!

don't EVER give a crap about grades. If someone is jealous, or someone doesn't like the fact your work is beter then theirs, or if they don't like your user name etc.. they'll give you a bad grade. The total amount of downloads is the grade. The more people that download it, the better it is. If you have 2 downloads and it's been up for a month...well then you can say it sucks...
PLease keep these up. It's nice having guys from the minors and rookies who don't get made because they aren't "big time" yet. I love your work.

It's a little bit hard say something because there is no real photos to compare them to cyberfaces. Could you add real photos to screenshots too?

I think the last one is the best. You can choose 3-d models quite well too. Hard to say about goalies screenshots. Maybe you should test goalie cybers making them first to someone else than goalies.
If u want take really good screenshots, change the player which cyber you have done to home team's first line center. When the game starts and players skate on the ice in very first automatic replay you can take a screenshot when the center turns to the camera. So it's possible to look at what kind are the textures. In automatic replays the size doesn't have an effect to cybers too.
And it's not necessary to left so much background to your screenshots. (Maybe mine screenshots are too big too.)

Thanks a lot to you guys. For ossi: I'm actually doing my screens by the way you told, but Kubina's screen wasn't done by me, so it's why its different.
I re-did Clemmensen and also Kilger, i'll post screens this evening.
I also did Stajan and Ponikarovsky, but they need some "tuning"...

The Kubina is amazing, it just needs new eyes. Rest is great though. Keep it up.

Ponikarovsky and Clemmenson look good .
Kilger's cyber is not perfect .. I'd say the problem is his mouth . It's too small .

I liked to see also some textures. I think you can select models very well and it's one of the important skill when you are doing cybers. Maybe there is something little problems with technques which you are using if the player photos are so big that you could do them 2x cybers. Are your cybers made 2X?
And what resolution tou are using in screenshots? You should use so high resolution than possible. I use the second highest resolution because my screen is not enough good to use highest resolution.

What do you mean by euh... 2x cybers? Like 512x512? I'm actually doing my cybers in 512x512.
I'm also using 1024x768 resolution, but i'll try a better one this evening.
I also did Stajan and some update of Ponikarovsky (added some color) but I need someone to import my fshs(****ing Vista). Is there somebody here willing to do it ?

When you are making cybers 2X means 512x512 pixels. How big are you photos. I mean for example mine original sm-league player photos are something like 3000x2000 pixels, so these are very good quality photos. I mean if you use samekind of good quality photos than me you maybe lose a little amount of details in your cyberfaces. I don't want to say that your cybers are bad quality, no these aren't, your cyberfaces are good, but maybe there could be a little more details.
If you have to scale bigger your original photos which you are using when make cyberfaces, then I understand a little lack of details. It is impossible to make good cyberfaces with very much details from bad quality photos.
One reason could be the resolution which you are using. I use 1280x1020 or something like that.

I can't do cybers with A LOT OF details cuz NHL's players pictures aren't the quality of the european pics.(the base picture I use is the picture on my preview, same size). I tried with my first Leafs cybers some 512x512, but i came back with White to 256x256 and I think the result is better.
I also put 1280x1020 resolution in the White's screen, and it gives better results.
The next one will be Tony Salmelainen or Mark Bell.

Hey, I just did Mark Bell and Colaiacovo, don't have the screens here.
I wanted to ask: Should I release this pack for 07 or 08?
