haha, since like all at the depot have started to try their own templates I get the inspiration (without the awesome tutorial tho^^)...

my first try is a Reebok...(I'm working with the blue, so don't look at the black and white)...

What do you think??

BTW: Please release AHL07 soon - I can't wait till NHL07 is out (I do live also in Europe, so we have wait a little bit longer than US) :-)

how do you take a pic like that and extract the colours so the pad is straight white?? He who shall not be named, Decypher to name a few can literally take any pad like that, suck the colour outta it, recolour it and bango tango a real pad becomes a full on temp. I have virtually every pad at that size that could be made into temps but I have no clue how to do that.

VFrocker very nice clour matching lighting on your temp. Again trial and error makes a good addon guy. Can't wait to see how you attack your next pad....

It's called mastering the art of lighting and shading which I am still a rookie at myself but I know it takes a lot of practice to get somewhere good.

Honestly, it just looks like you blurred the lighting on the real pad. But I dunno, I could be wrong.

@VFrocker: The posts with your pad and the real pad reminds me a little bit like this games in the magazine - find 10 errors - but I gave up, because your pad is so great.

the lightning on the blue top...exactly over the RBK logo...there's is a whacky point...=/

It's bad of me that I didn't done it as a temp (I still have to practice that, so I lay the lights in a new layer)...

pretty damn solid start. Looks pretty solid, we'll see how it ties together when you add sides, more shading and more lighting. Looks great so far...

Actually now looking at it it isn't the shading it's the profound curves. The RBK's are virtually a flat pad. Sorta with seperations. I love the fact you just taught me how to do a new shading technique without even knowing it, but the three top "rolls" aren't really rolls, more like square chunks...Maybe take that awesome roll technique and apply it to the bottom when you do the bottom rolls for the Rbk/heaton 10 version that Toskala uses...
