First try on a template.

this is my first attempt on a template. i followed pekkas guide and improvised a bit on my own. what do you think?

credits to pekkas guide and dralex(i borrowed your puckmarks for this one if it is ok).

looks good, but too much shading. try playing with the Opacity/Fill.

I love the RBK man, wish my temp was as good. Just add some more shading and lightning, and the outer lines, and it will be great

actually I think it's to LITTLE shading!! I think it's looking flat, but I would really like to see an in-game bro

Yeah, needs more shading and lighting in some areas I'd say. But you also have to remember that the pad he is making is actually a really flat looking pad. I think what might help is giving the square elements more of a 'pop' just define the edges with the shading and lighting a little more so that the pad still keeps its flat look but isn't so flat that it looks unrealistic. Hope that helps, its an excellent start.

do you mean like.. small but sharp edges?
