Flyers With a new look

Lets go flyers!! Briere, Hartnell, Timonen, Lupul, & Smith!
Anyway, heres just an upgrade of the flyers jerseys i think would be cool. But you be the judge.

Third jersey logo as primary and a some silver stripes, which will match perfectly when they win the cup

Also, just read on the Flyers website about "pre-ordering" Briere jerseys....and that the new design will be released on Sept 16th. GOOD LORD! KEEP US WAITING WHY DON'T THEY!

I quite like the jersey but im not sure about the grey on the socks, would show what kind of a fan I was if they had grey already!

Flyer's redesigned jerseys look ok. Should have made the stripe on the bottom metallic though so it shined.

I wonder if the NHL has wondered if all of this change is a good idea. I mean basically all they have right now are the die-hards that love the game no matter what happens to it, but even how much are they going to take with everything changing and being forced to buy new stuff to keep up with it. On the other hand a new look could be a good thing by attracting new people with the fresh look. But this will not even come close to solving the main problem.

The only thing I hate about the Flyer's jerseys are that the home is black. Their primary color is orange.... So what gives?

Honestly, no offense to anybody who has already done mods, but I just think the new "edge" jerseys suck. I just don't think they last, and I think the fans will hate them too. I thought the all-star jerseys looked stupid, and now that I see these new designs, they just don't look like hockey jerseys (or sweaters, for that matter) anymore.

Someone made a point on CSN last night that the NHL is back to its old standard, with Philly and New York raiding the Sabres for their best players.

considering Briere shoots right and Dave Cormz photoshopped the Flyers unis. They are going back to the orange for the homes, and whites for the aways and are a loose variation of the ORIGINAL Flyer unis vintage 1967 with some modern touches but same logo. Ed Snyder said himself they wouldn't deviate too far from the original unis, only adding some modern accents and that Orange would be the homes Because the fans DICTATED it...

Yeah, because I hope it is true. The Flyers are my 2nd favorite team.
