03-04 roster for NHL 2004

This is a NHL 2003-2004 roster for NHL 2004. It is based on the last EA roster patch. I have added a lot of players and removed some. I have also adjusted ratings and moved players back to their starting team. The roster is made for dynasty mode without hero-rating. It is not superrealistic as jerseynumbers, captaincy and equipment haven´t been edited. Only the NHL teams have been touched. Sell your NHL 09 on ebay, Go back to NHL 2004 and have fun.

no offense but I think most people want updated rosters for 2004, not rosters from 2003-2004 season for 2004. Even my old rosters are more updated than yours and I quit over 2 years

You are probably right. But there are up to date roster to download on several sites. I could not find a decent 03-04 roster, so I made my own - and shared it with you.

you mean with the community as I don't have 2004 installed and if I did install it, it would have updated rosters not rosters for the end of the 2003-2004 season because I see no point in having outdated rosters

It is the roster of the start of 2003-2004 season, not the end. Well, the point is that with this roster you can play a dynasty on NHL 2004. Of course it is also possible with a up to date roster, but then you will have 14-years old players and you will lack a lot of photos, pbp:s and cyberfaces. You can also download an up to date roster and import players from there to the rookiedraft. Thats the way I play. You don´t have to try it, but maybe someone else will...

there are addons for 2004 at Flyermania's site and also here and at HD and most people want to play as Crosby and Ovechkin and all the others on their respective teams rather than draft them

Hi DSgamby,

Are you aware of a site where the NHL 2004 roster can be downloaded that will work with a dynasty mode, ie that doesnt have all the acceleration stats changed to 50 or 60 and that works without the PNHL? Am I asking too much?

Im just looking for a roster udpate maybe to sometime in 2008 (2009 would be awesome!) would be fine, but something more up to date then the end of 2004 that will work with a clean install of 2004 and the 1.04 patch only.

Checked flyermania and from what I can tell it looks like the updates that he has are PNHL or geared to work best for play only one season at a time. Unless I get into editing new rookies coming in or changes to accelearation and whatever else has been tweaked draft players coming in will have a huge advantage.

I can update a roster, but trying to add on PNHL and NHL View got complicated and I ended up having to reinstall the game. So im trying to keep it simple and just find a basic roster update.

Any direction would be much appreciated.
