is BHImport in C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL 09 folder?
also, is there a the addon tools in the same folder as well.

yep I have everything including the addons in the NHL 09 folder, I going to check it now...
I just check it but I dont know what change from the default roster...

use the transaction screen in NHL View, one side is the UFA and one side is the hidden player list and then click on player and press the move button

I've done all the steps in the readme-file
"How to install it:
1. Copy db.viv to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL09\db XP
2. copy exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb to My Documents\NHL09
3. copy BHImport08.bat to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL09 XP
4. copy genbhnhl, gfxpak and ImpBIG to your NHL09 main folder
5. run BHImport09.bat"
But now I can't start the game?!
The screen becomes black and then just pop back to the desktop.
What do I need to do for it to start?
I did not overwrite the old files I just renamed them so could I just go back to those files so I atleast can play the freakin game?
*edit*
I just deleted all those files and now it works but with the original roster 
Why didn't this work for me?

I fixed it myself.
I didn't look carefully where I put the file BHImport so now it works perfectly!
I don't know where I should look to see all the drafts and stuff like that but atleast Sundin moved to Vancouver 
Perhaps the readme should be changed like this
"How to install it:

it is need to make addons work
it is included with the roster, also, it is part of the addon tools and also solo in the downloads
