Downloads: A new file has been added by Tripredacus:

TPX_NHL06_RosterMod_1.02_Upgrade

This is the upgrade installer for version 1.02, updated to 09/22/08. Only download this file if you have one of the previous versions of my mod installed. This only contains the roster files. It requires the import of the frontEnglish.bin file if you want to use the All-Star teams, among other things. So if you don't have my mod yet, use the FULL version instead.

The rosters are not complete and will not be until after the regular season starts. Consider this a "Beta" Pre-Season roster. Numbers, captaincies and player placement are not complete. No additional mod files are introduced over previous versions. Some lines may be incomplete or with weird line-ups. All Lines are autofilled by NHLView, but better lines will be done in the Regular Season version. International Teams may be unstable (not enough players). Extra Leagues and Custom teams should be playable but lines may not be filled properly.

Hey,

I'm pretty new to this whole thing as I'm jumping into the NHL series on the PC for the first time since NHL 2002. Long time ago, I actually no longer own the game. Must have gotten lost in the past 6 years.

Anyway, this is the first time I'm jumping into mods and stuff for this series. I noticed you're still making mods for the NHL 06 version of the game, which is what I plan on picking up later tonight.

So my question is, could you possibly help me figure out what to download first. I don't want to try to download a file that won't work because I didn't download a previous iteration of it first. I read some of the descriptions on some of your recently uploaded mods and wasn't sure what was the first thing to download before I add on to that file.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it. I'm really looking forward to checking this stuff out!

For my mod, get the one marked as full. It includes almost everything you need to install it. The thing that is missing is BHImport07 but you can download that from here also. You definately need that in order to install mine and other peoples mods. In the readme include in the FULL install, there is a list of the mods I use myself when testing my game out.

I actually don't really play anymore but I might once the final rosters are released.
