Downloads: A new file has been added by ZOSiS:

BvH Roster for NHL08 Version 12

Hi all!

Here is BvH Roster Version 12 for NHL 08:

New:
- all latest NHL --> AHL and AHL --> NHL assignments as of 25.03.2008
- all latest AHL --> ECHL and ECHL --> AHL assignments as of 25.03.2008
- all latest European Leagues transactions as of 25.03.2008 (except next season's transfers because playoffs still continues)
- updated many NHL and AHL players ratings
- updated a lot of European teams players ratings
- updated all NHL and AHL players height/weight
- corrected all AHL players helmets (Jofa=RBK helmets)
- updated NHL, AHL and European teams lines (players who are on a long injured reserve are scratched)
- created a lot of new players
- updated jersey # and captaincies for all leagues
- created all rookies of Czech Extraliga and most of Swedish Elit League

Now all tools for NHL 08 that are required for the addons to start your game without crashes included into this file (genbhnhl, gfxpak, ImpBIG) - look for "Tools for NHL08" archive.

When I install those rosters and start a dynasty, all the players seems to be in the Free Agents AND in the teams. Why?

I run on Vista.

did you run BHImport?

did you move all the game folders to the My Documents\NHL08 folder?

No, I changed only few goalies ratings. Others keep the same rates from Version 11.

You are telling me I have to move all the subfolders, not the main folder? So that would keep my NHL08.exe in my program files?

Alright first off thanks for the great efforts put into these updates and everything.

Now...I've tried the update, followed all of the procedures in the readme, ran the .bat's, and booted up NHL. It loads fine, but all of the rosters are the same as before!?!

I'm running Vista 32, I did the updates for the roster in MyName\Documents\NHL08 (and \db) and the tools for NHL 08 changes in C:\program files\EA Sports\NHL08 as instructed in the readme document...is there anything I should try before crying because I don't have Carey Price on the Habs but I still have Souray?

Edit: Just a little update here, I tried putting the files into the \program files\etc.\ folder, now when I start my game it crashes, so I guess I'll do a fresh install and try again. As far as I know nothing works yet though.

did you do the following

id you run BHImport?

hey Zosis, just wondering, all the stats seem to be raised for most of the players and when u auto play a whole season... more than 20 players gets at least 2 points a game and Eric Staal gets 2 goals a game for the whole season (sometimes). Its probably hard trying to nerf all the guys down but was wondering if you could increase the players that i have asked to be lowered in the past. Sorry I didnt know it would make a big difference. Markus Naslund, Henrik Sedin, and Daniel Sedin by like +(3-5) overall

Well hope u see this since its been a while since someone posted here. Maybe you could modify this version or make v.13 haha

hey guys... I installed this add-on but the roster for the rangers isnt really updated... I mean the roster doesnt have new guys like Staal, Dubinsky, Gerardi etc...

can someone help... seems like I followed the steps correctly... can someone tell me if their NY rangers roster has the above mentioned players after the update?

Created after installation. People are saying top players go into free agency because of salary cap issues. I haven't tried dynasty yet now that ive installed it.

Also what is with the NHL all star team created? The ratings are bad and players have the wrong weight/height. Lemieux has a crap rating for the second best player of all time, he is 6'4 not 6'2 and there is no Gordie Howe, but his son Mark? And Gretzky is not 6'1. That should be redone.
