JB's Realistic NHL08 gameplay&rosters v1.01.23

This is my first release for NHL08. I have fixed the gameplay for more realistic and the CPU is now harder to beat.

Changes to roster:
- NHL all 100% done with minor players. (salaries, contracts, attributes etc.)
- AHL almost 100% done. New players and #s will be fixed in the future.
- SM-Liiga all 100% done with all players, juniors and real schedule 07-08. (salaries, contracts, attributes etc.)
- Elitserien, DEL and Extraliga coming up somewhere in the future.
- National teams will be updated with World Championship 08 (Vancouver, Canada) teams, coming up somewhere in the spring.
- Eastern and Western all-star team rosters are 100% correct.


Instructions:

1. Copy db.viv and tuning.viv to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08\db XP
or C: \My Documents\NHL08\db Vista

2. Copy exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb to My Documents\NHL08

3. Copy BHImport08.bat to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08 XP
or Vista 32 BHImport.bat to C: \My Documents\NHL08 Vista

4. Put the aidata.viv file to gamedata - folder

5 Put the fmisc.viv file to preload - folder

6. Run BHImport08.bat or Vista 32 BHImport.bat

7. In the game put the gameplay settings to difficult (recommended) and default

8. Put the hero rating off and penalties to 4/5.

The next BvH roster copy!
I know i gave you permission to use it for NHL07.
The attributes and datas (salary, weight, height,...) for more than 80% of the NHL and AHL players are exact the same.
The only thing you changed:
All attributes for the goalies +4. That`s is.
I hope you creating all the missing players yourself and not import
it from BvH roster. ZOSiS and I´m works/worked really hard for the roster updates

I hope the people use the orginal version than an uncomplete copy. Thanks

Okey, let me explain. The roster files are made over the original EA sports files and I started from scratch. I have been making the rosters and the gameplay almost three months now.
All the NHL, AHL and SM-Liiga weights and heights are from tsn.ca, ahl.com and jatkoaika.fi, I didn't copy those.
Only thing that I checked from your rosters are the salaries (I didn't find them nowhere else) and some attributes, but made a lot changes to them, looking the real statistic how the player's have played. I have also made many new players by my own.
Goalies attributes aren't just +4, I put their overall attributes to that value how good they are at the moment.
My main focus have been in the finnish SM-Liiga and I don't think they are nowhere the same.

Anyways, I won't check anything from your rosters anymore and u can stop me releasing my updates if u want. But I hope we have a positive agreement here. Let's make the hockey playing experience more realistic and fun .

some attributes? Funny! Check for example the Atlanta Thrashers.
Nearly every attributes are the same. See the overalls:

You changed the goalies i wrote before and only a few players
but what have you change. See Slater you gave him -4 in all attributes. That`s all.

You copy nearly every NHL/AHL player from BvH roster and change them a little bit (all attributes -1 or +3 or whatever)
And i checked the height/weight and equipments for ten players ... no different but I`m sure you changed some!

I know you worked many many hours for this.
Copying all the players needs a long time
but creating all this players, finding all player infos and so
needs much more than only copying them from one to another roster
