Downloads: A new file has been added by ZOSiS:

BvH-Roster NHL08 Version7

Here is BvH Roster Version 7 for NHL 08:

-now 100% faceplace compatible (thanks to Antti and watis)
-latest European Leagues transactions
-latest NHL-->AHL and AHL-->NHL transfers
-latest AHL-->ECHL and ECHL-->AHL transfers
-correct jersey #
-correct NHL lines, salaries and contract lenghts
-created few new players
-fixed many NHL players ratings (thanks to ASD91)
-fixed many errors and mistakes (thanks to watis)
-now all teams are completely updated

Hello,
I have a question before installing the files.
It seems that everytime i install roster updates and place de DB viv in c:program files/easports/nhl08/db/ my game always crash i do exacly what i am suppose do do always run the bhimport after installing so i dont know what to do.
Can you please help me?

Do the ratings for yourself if you think they aren't realistic.

Download files from this link and put them to folder with your NHL 08 game. These files are necessrary to install the roster:

Only thing I can't change now are raitings. I change a lot of NHL forwards and defenemen ratings (thanks to ASD91 for his help with it) but no one goalie at all cause I have no free time now to do it. It's a very hard job. But you are wright about Cloutier, I'll chage it. If you want to discuss something else, please, write me here or via PM's message.

By the way, thanks for Bacashihua info. I put him from Peoria Rivermen to Lake Erie Monsters but forgot to trade him from his parent NHL club.

I try 2 rosters, and Montreal team is not very up to date, or something dont work properly :/

Where is Carey Price, and i dont see any Jason Cullimore and Salmonainen (or something like that) on Montreal team....

How i can have Price, i want price lol

I havce an old version of the roster and Price is there and the roster is did not have Cullimore or Salmanien.

My guess, you did not install the rosters correctly.

Where did you put the files?
Did you run BHImport afterwards
Do you have the 08 Addon tools in game's main folder?

Tony Salmelainen is playing for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in Russian Superliga now. Jassen Cullimore is playing for Florida Panthers at the moment. So, why they should be in Canadiens' lineup? Carey Price is present in BvH Roster since NHL07 (!) was released.

I think the problem is in db.viv file. Did you put this file to folder with the game (C:/Program Files/EA SPORTS/NHL 08 by default in OC Windows XP)?

Hey guys! Thanks a lot for the work on this amazing roster. I just got a question about running seasons: I wasn't really able to find an answer on this forum or even google

I startet a new NHL-season based on your BvH-v5-Roster. Then I installed v7. Now my question: does this update have any effect on the roster of my season? I opened the files in NHLView including my .sea-file as secondary database. But it seemes that this secondary database isn't a relative roster but an static...
If yes: is there a way to update the season-file?

u can;t get the tools file because whenever i got the the gamers site it requires registration which is down right now i need the tools file!!! please anyone send it to mango_ipod@yahoo.ca thanks

Hey!
No, a new roster update doesn't affect on your season. Only on exhibition games. So, if you want to play a season with lastly-updated roster you should to start the new one. And unfortunately I can't do anything with it.

Hi Zosis/Vlad,

I just want to point out a lot of your players height/weight look wrong. If they are right, then it just looks bad ingame. I have a screenshot, but not a very good one. To get the full effect, play as the ducks and watch when miller gets the puck. He looks waay too skinny to be in the nhl.

Miller has the correct weight/height in the roster
and he is a skinny guy in real life (for a hockey player):

1. copy db.viv to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08\db XP
or C: \My Documents\NHL08\db Vista

2. copy exhibition.exh and exhibition.exha.tdb
to My Documents\NHL08\

3. copy BHImport08.bat to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NHL08 XP
or Vista 32 BHImport.bat to My Documents\NHL08\

4. ran BHImport08.bat or Vista 32 BHImport.bat

You need a few more files (genbhnhl, gfxpak,...) in your NHL08 main folder (http://www.nhldepot.net/ndforums/dow...o=file&id=1228)
